On Friday, June 19, Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce, mandated Public school boards to begin planning for reopening schools in September 2020. Boards were provided with guidelines to support the development of their reopening plans. On June 24, the Private Schools Unit sent out a memo to the Principals of Private schools, indicating that protocols for reopening private schools in Ontario should be developed by the principal or operator of the school. To help LCRSS Member Schools develop plans for reopening, here is a guided review of the Ministry document and a planning template for school boards and administration.
